For you and your customers who are looking for products that save money and conserve resources, here's exciting news. Select Pentair pool pump models have earned the ENERGY STAR certification, signifying that they operate with greater energy efficiency, reduce operating costs, and reduce carbon emissions. Earning the ENERGY STAR certification is further confirmation that Pentair pool pumps lead the industry in energy-saving technology. We were the first to introduce energy-saving, variable-speed pumps, a full five years ahead of the competition. And, we've continued to maintain our lead in providing innovative technology that makes pool ownership as economical and worry-free as possible.

You're probably aware that ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy that has encouraged the development of energy-saving products like appliances, lighting, and electronics. Now, pool pumps have been added to the ENERGY STAR program. To earn the ENERGY STAR certification, pool pumps must be at least 30-72% more energy efficient than typical pumps. It's no surprise that many of our energy-saving pumps have easily qualified to display the ENERGY STAR mark.
